When Should You Schedule PPI?

You should always arrange a PPI after you have test-driven the car and confirmed you like it, but before signing any contracts or finalizing ownership transfers.

Always select an independent third-party mechanic or specialized inspection service rather than relying solely on an inspection checklist provided directly by the seller. An independent technician works strictly in your best interest.

The inspection follows a multi-checkpoint checklist:

Powertrain Oil and coolant leaks, unusual engine noises, transmission fluid condition, smooth gear changes.

Brakes & Suspension Rotor and pad thickness, shock absorber leaks, worn bushings, steering responsiveness.

Electrical & Cabin Air conditioning performance, code errors, window motors, battery health, dashboard indicator lights.

Exterior & Frame Panel gaps (indicating past crashes), frame rust, abnormal tire tread wear patterns.

Road Test Acceleration feel, braking alignment, strange vibrations, or abnormal cabin noise at highway speeds.
